SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A pedestrian was hit and killed while crossing the road Tuesday morning in Sacramento.
Around 5:20 a.m., the man, described by police as a 42-year-old Asian male transient, was crossing Power Inn Road at Florin Road against the light when he was struck by a northbound vehicle that had a green light, according to CHP spokesperson Officer Michael Bradley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man killed as Vay Li.
