SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A big rig crash in Sacramento had blocked several lanes of Interstate 5 in both directions Monday.

The crash happened around 3 a.m. just south of the Sutterville Road exit. The truck hauling a trailer was heading southbound on when, for some reason, it lost control and hit the center divider, scattering debris into oncoming lanes along with the cab, according to a statement from the CHP.

The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
