College Football Weekly Q&A: Lessons Learned This Season

As the college football season wraps up we thought we would ask Cody Stark what we learned from the 2015 season.
Q: So what did we learn this season?
A: A whole bunch of things! I learned that just because it comes in a tub the size of a Yugo, you don't have to eat the whole jar of Costco peanut butter in one setting.
Q: Um, I meant football.
A: Oh sorry, you were looking for details. OK. One thing we learned was that at the beginning of the season my Auburn Tigers were ranked 6th...what they MEANT was that Auburn would win 6 games in the regular season. It's an easy mistake to make.
Q: OK, what else?
A: Well we learned from the wild, WILD ending to the Michigan/Michigan State game was that 110,000 people packed into a stadium can go from uphoria to abject horror in the span of six seconds. If you recall, Michigan had the game in the bag, all they had to do was punt. The Spartans broke through the line, Michigan's punter drops the ball and the Spartans scored with no time left on the clock. It was so surprisingly shocking that a Michigan fan actually had a heart attack, A HEART ATTACK (he would recover, thank goodness). I honestly though Jim Harbaugh was going to spontaniously combust right there on the 40 yard line, leaving behind only a smoldering pair of khakis on the sidelines.
We also learned that after a nuclear apocalypse that only cockroaches and Les Miles will be left over to rule the Earth. LSU began the season on a roll and made their way up to a number two ranking, then the bottom fell out. They lost to Bama, Arkansas, and Ole Miss. Sources told the national media that Les Miles would be fired after the Texas A&M game. Even Les was talking like he was typing in new housing searches on Zillow.
During the game, the fans chanted his name, by the end of the second half, the school suddenly announced that they would be keeping Les around after all. I felt like I was watching a reality show, instead of a rose he was presented with a patch of Bermuda grass for him to chew on. (Les has this weird tradition of eating the turf at Tiger stadium before games, he says it lets him know he is a part of the field and a part of the game. I shop at Cosco, but I don't eat their shopping carts to get the FULL experince).
The last thing we learned was NEXT year is Auburns year. I hear they will be ranked 12th in the preseason poll.
