Reality TV Star Lisa Vanderpump Adopts Dog From Sacramento SPCA

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A shelter dog has been given a glamorous new life all thanks to a cute tweet directed at a reality show star.

Back on New Year’s Eve, the Sacramento SPCA tweeted about a dog they had going up for adoption that looked a lot like Giggy, the pampered pet of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump.

Harrison must have caught Lisa’s eye, because she replied within hours saying she would take him in.

Saturday, Lisa made the 400 mile trek up from Beverly Hills to Sacramento to adopt 4-year-old Harrison.

Not only does Harrison look like Giggy, the shelter said, both also have alopecia – a condition that causes hair loss. In a previous interview with People Magazine, Lisa says this is why Giggy wears clothes – meaning Harrison will probably be rocking some designer threads soon.
