Chair Falls From Heavenly Ski Resort Chairlift
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) - Heavenly ski resort closed its North Bowl chairlift after one of the chairs fell during operations.
The incident happened Sunday around 11 a.m. An empty chair reportedly fell from the chairlift while it was heading back down the mountain.
All 65 guests from the lift were evacuated from the lift.
A maintenance team is investigating what caused the chair to fall.
It's unknown when the lift will reopen.
