ROCKLIN (CBS13) – A local high school athlete was killed in a crash late Saturday night.
The crash happened near Park Drive and Villa Serena Circle a little before 11 p.m. According to the Rocklin Police Department, officers showed up at the scene and discovered that a car had lost control and hit a tree.READ MORE: Sheriff: Suspect Admits To Pointing Gun At Neighbor During Argument

Police have identified the driver killed as 18-year-old Earl Andrews Galindo, known as “Ronny” to friends of the teen.
