In ten days Super Bowl 50 will begin. In the meantime, expect lists. Expect lots and lots of lists about anything. One such list came out earlier today as the NFL released their Super Bowl 50 Golden Team. These are the best players who have ever played in the Super Bowl. It isn’t necessarily the best players ever, but the people who have performed the best in the games.

With that said, many of the names on the list are legends who won’t surprise you. Joe Montana, Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice all made the cut.

For the Raiders, three players made the list. Ray Guy (7X Pro Bowler & 3 Super Bowls), Gene Upshaw (6X Pro Bowler & 2 Super Bowls) and Art Shell (8X Pro Bowler & 3 Super Bowls) made the list.

Maybe you think that Tom Brady or Ray Lewis deserved to make the cut but you can’t deny that this list is lacking in star power at all.
