Fire Damages Patio And Attic Of North Highlands Home
NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) - A North Highlands home was damaged by fire on Monday morning.
The fire broke out just after 5:30 a.m. on the patio of a home on Bainbridge Drive, near the intersection of Antelope and Walerga Roads. Firefighters say when they got the call they were given only a general area of the home and had to drive around to find it. When they arrived, firefighters found flames on the back of the home and inside the home's attic. They were able to quickly put out the fire.
Three people inside the home at the time the fire started were alerted by a smoke detector. All three were able to get out safely.
