Woman Shot And Killed In Citrus Heights
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) - A woman was shot and killed at apartments in Citrus Heights just after midnight Monday.
Around 12 a.m., police reportedly received multiple phone calls about a female who had been shot in the 12000 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard at the Montage Apartments. Police arrived at the scene and found a woman in her 40s with a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to a statement from the Citrus Heights Police Department.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.
Police have identified an isolated suspect who may have been present at the time of the incident.
