Some Foothill Schools Closed, Others Delay Start Times Due To Wet Weather

(CBS13) - Wet weather conditions are affecting some schools in the foothills on Monday morning.

As a precaution, the Pollock Pines School District has closed Sierra Ridge Middle School and Pinewood Elementary. Other schools are delaying the start of their day.

In the El Dorado Union High School District, El Dorado High School and Union Mine High School will be delayed by two hours due to weather.

The Gold Oak Union School District will also be on a two-hour delay. Schools affected in that district are Gold Oak Elementary and Pleasant Valley Middle School.
