49ers Jarryd Hayne's Rookie Season Profiled on 60 Minutes Australia
Jarryd Hayne made news last year when he transitioned from an Australian rugby league to the NFL. Considering the rare circumstances of his journey his story was covered by every major sports news outlet.
Earlier this week 60 Minutes Australia had a 20 minute video where it profiled his officially signing with the team. They went back to his hometown, talked about moving to the United States and his training with Jay Glazer.
"I'm not normal, you know?" Hayne said. "I think that's what the world thinks life is about – to have a big house and have a nice car. But you know, for me it's about being on an adventure, finding out who you are, and pushing and growing as a person."
