Car Catches Fire Inside Sacramento Towing Company Facility

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Fire crews are cleaning up after a fire in a towing company's storage facility.

At around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sacramento Fire Department crews got reports of a car on fire inside the Ed and Sons towing company building on Land Avenue, off Del Paso Boulevard.

One of the owners of the tow company got a call from their alarm company and rushed over.

"When I got to the gate, flames [were] coming from the middle of the shop," Ed Bryden said.

Crews were able to force their way into the building and knock down the flames.

At this time, there's no word on how the fire may have started or how much damage was caused by the flames and smoke.
