2 Men Accused Of Robbing Vacaville Jack In The Box Arrested

VACAVILLE (CBS13) - Two young men are under arrest after a robbery at a Jack in the Box in Vacaville, police say.

Vacaville police say officers were called to the Jack in the Box along E. Monte Vista Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. to investigate a reported robbery.

A man - later identified as 18-year-old Devon McMahon - allegedly came into the restaurant, threatened an employee, told her he had a gun and demanded money. She gave him some cash and McMahon ran out to a Toyota waiting for him outside.

Police say an alert citizen helped them catch the suspects. Officers stopped the suspect's car near West and Merchant Streets within minutes of the robbery.

McMahon and the stolen money was found inside the car, police say.

Both McMahon and the car's driver - 19-year-old Napa resident Nolan Amos - were arrested and are now facing burglary charges.
