Woman Injured In Violent Crash On Watt Avenue

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - One person is in the hospital after she was injured in a violent single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Sacramento.

Just before 1 a.m., the driver was traveling on southbound Watt Avenue in an SUV, when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of the vehicle, hit a pole. That's when the SUV overturned and slammed into the wall of a wheelchair ramp in front of a building.

The woman was taken to the hospital and was said to be alert and talking.

Police have not released the exact cause of the crash.

The SUV is a complete loss.
