SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Governor Jerry Brown performed his civic duty on Tuesday morning, dropping off his ballot at a polling place inside the Downtown Sacramento Boys and Girls Club just after 8:40 AM.

Governor Brown didn't come alone, along with his Protection Detail and staff, first dog Sutter Brown came with him.  The pet Corgi was recently diagnosed with "very aggressive cancer" but didn't show any signs of illness at the polling place.

Governor Brown spoke to reporters outside the polling place briefly about the Propositions and candidates he's supporting in the election.
