More Than 200 Animals Adopted At Front Street Since Realtor's Donation

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Warm, fuzzy feelings are continuing at Front Street Animal Shelter.

Zhanna and Val lost their beloved German shepherd "Ruby" over a year ago.

After three months straight of searching, they had given up hope. Then they saw Ruby in the background of a video from Front Street Animal Shelter.

Over the weekend, Zhanna and Val were reunited with Ruby.

Over the last five days, 250 animals have been adopted as the shelter's free adoption program continues. The shelter says it has nearly been emptied, but more animals are expected to come in.

The discount was made possible by local realtor Kim Pacini-Hauch, who offered to pay for every adoption until the end of the year.
