Teen's Disappearance Being Called 'Suspicious'

A Woodland teenager's disappearance is being called "suspicious."

On November 4, 2016, Elijah Moore, 17, cashed a check at a check cashing business at 155 Main Street in Woodland. Then, just before 4 p.m., he called his mother. That's the last time anyone has heard from him.

Two days later, after discovering Elijah hadn't returned home or contacted family members, his mother called police a filed a missing person's report. Because Elijah has never been out of contact with family so long, detectives are calling his disappearance suspicious.

Elijah is described as Black, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs about 200 pounds. He has with short hair and brown eyes. He was seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, yellow shirt, green backpack, khaki pants, and tan work boots.

Anyone with information about Elijah's whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency immediately. Tips on potential leads to his location can be submitted to the Woodland Police Department by calling (530) 661-7850.
