Carmichael Boy Out To Collect 10,000 Cans For Needy

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) — A Carmichael boy has big goals this holiday season for more than just himself.

Cameron Dax, 12, has been collecting canned goods and non-perishables for the last six years for his area food closets. He started solo and the effort has become a community one.

More than 13 businesses now serve as collection sites working to help him get to this year's 10,000 item goal.
