At a Nov. 1 sentencing, Green’s defense filed a motion to ask for a new trial. The defense argued that Green should have only been convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
Friday, Green was back in court. The judge refused to hear the motion for a new trial and he then handed down the 15-years-to-life sentence.
