Vallejo Fire Station Hit By Gunfire, No One Hurt

VALLEJO (CBS13) - A fire station was struck by a bullet over the weekend - and it's not the first time this has happened.

Sunday, Vallejo Firefighters posted pictures to their Facebook page of the damage done. As seen in the pictures, a bullet was shot through the front window of  Vallejo Fire Station No. 24.

Fortunately, the bullet hit a box of medical gloves and nothing else.

"This is not the first time one of our stations has been willingly damaged, and not even the first time they have been struck by gunfire," Vallejo Firefighters wrote.

It is unclear why the fire station was targeted.
