Driver Rescued After Being Trapped In Flood Waters In Galt

GALT (CBS13) – A driver was rescued after getting trapped in flood waters in Galt early Friday morning.

The scene is along Kerry Road, near Arno Road.

California Highway Patrol says the driver was trying to turn around when they spotted flood waters. The driver then got stuck in the water.

Crews managed to free the car from the flooded roadway. No one was hurt in the incident.

Signage is now in place to alert drivers to the water roadway.
