EF0 Tornado Touches Down In South Natomas

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF0 tornado touched down in South Natomas early Wednesday morning.

It happened around midnight along Rio Tierra Avenue.

According to the weather service, the small twister caused tree and fence damage in the area. No injuries have been reported, but Rio Terra Avenue is closed in the area due to the damage.

The tornado last less than five minutes, NWS says.
