Report: OT John Theus To Be Released By 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers and offensive tackle John Theus will soon be parting ways as the organization is planning on releasing him later today, per Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.
Theus was a fifth round pick out of Georgia in 2016 for the 49ers. He inked a four-year, $2.59 million rookie contract with a signing bonus of $257,612.
He's started just one game and has only played in four since being signed.
