Off-Roaders Who Got Stuck In Snow Along Rubicon Trail Rescued

MILLER LAKE (CBS13) - The latest on a search for off-roaders in Placer County:

12:01 p.m.

Authorities say the final five people missing have been found.

A total of seven people got stuck while off-roading along the Rubicon Trail on Sunday. Two of the party went out to get help while the rest stayed behind.

Monday, search crews went out to try and find the missing people.

Late in the morning, authorities announced that the Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue team found the five other missing people.

10:33 a.m.

Search and rescue teams are out looking for a group of people who went missing on the Rubicon Trail over the weekend.

The Placer County Sheriff's Office says a total of seven people went out on a 4x4 and got stuck in the snow along the Rubicon Trail near Miller Lake on Sunday morning.

Crews are now out on Monday looking for the people.

Authorities say two of the missing people have been found so far.
