Fairfield Police Shooting Sends Suspect To Hospital

FAIRFIELD (CBS13) — A Fairfield Police shooting sent a suspect to the hospital and closed roads in the area.

The shooting happened on Wednesday afternoon on Crowley Lane and prompted the closure of that road and Pennsylvania Avenue.

There's no word on what led up to the shooting, or what the suspect was accused of doing at the time.

Pennsylvania Avenue has since reopened.
