Duck Caught In Sierra Snowstorm Rescued By Safeway Employees

POLLOCK PINES (CBS13) — Some wildlife are getting caught by a heavy storm moving through the Sierra this week.

Several Safeway employees in Pollock Pines found a duck that didn't get the memo to fly south for the winter.

The duck now named Snowflake was taken to wildlife rescue experts for treatment.

The employees hope Snowflake will be brought back to a nearby pond when the weather is warmer.
