Magnitude-7.3 Earthquake Hits Venezuela Coast

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A large has struck along the northern coast of Venezuela on Tuesday.

The magnitude-7.3 earthquake struck at around 5:30 p.m. Caracas time, or 2:30 p.m. in California.

The quake is centered about 12.5 miles north-northwest of Yaguaraparo, Venezuela.
