Coroner: Bones Found At Downtown Construction Site Not Human

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Bone fragments unearthed in Downtown Sacramento on Tuesday belonged to an animal, not a human, say experts.

Crews found the bones after lifting up some concrete near 12th and J streets. The remains were taken to the county coroner's office where it determined the bones belong to an animal.

It is not clear what kind of animal was buried at that spot.
