Woodland High Lockdown Lifted After Tense Day

WOODLAND (CBS13) - The latest on a shooting threat investigation at Woodland High School:

2:48 p.m.

Woodland police say officers have found no evidence of a shooting or that the threat was credible.

Parents are still in the process of picking up their children from the school.

1:42 p.m.

Students at Woodland High School are being evacuated and bused to Christiansen Park.

Woodland police say the first report of a shooting threat came just after 10 a.m. The school was placed on lockdown and officers have been going room to room investigating.

Police say no injuries have been reported.

Streets around Woodland High School are still blocked off due to the investigation.

12:25 p.m.

Woodland High School is on lockdown as police investigate reports of a shooting threat.

Police are searching the school room by room, but have not found evidence that a shooting has occurred, according to a department spokesperson.

Students are being released. Parents are urged to pick their children up at Christensen Park. They are urged not to come to the school.
