CHP Investigating Deadly Crash On Highway 49 Near Auburn
AUBURN (CBS13) – At least one person has died in a crash on Highway 49 in Placer County Monday morning.
The scene is on Highway 49 in the canyon, just north of Quarry Road and east of Auburn.
California Highway Patrol confirms that the crash happened a little before 10:30 a.m. and was deadly, but no other information about the incident has been released at this point.
Officers say to expect delays if heading through the area.
