Police: Ambulance Crashed Into Pole Downtown, 1 Transported To Hospital

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Police say an ambulance has crashed into a pole at 33rd and J Street in Sacramento.

The crash happened Wednesday afternoon in a third-party ambulance that is not connected to the city.

Officers said one person was transported to an area hospital as a precaution. It is not clear at this time if there was a patient in the vehicle, or if the lights and sirens were in use.

Crews are working to repair the pole.
