Big Rig Flips, Spilling Grapes All Over San Joaquin County Road
MANTECA (CBS13) – A crash involving an overturned big rig caused quite the mess in San Joaquin County early Friday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 12:30 a.m. on South Austin Road, near French Camp Road in Manteca.
The big rig driver was hauling grapes when the truck veered off the roadway, causing it to flip onto its side.
The driver was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
