Evacuations Ordered After Possible Honey Oil Lab Explosion In Apartment Complex

MANTECA (CBS13) — Evacuations were ordered in Manteca Monday evening after a drug lab explosion inside an apartment complex.

The explosion happened just before 4:30 p.m. on Stewart Street, just a block from an elementary school.

Authorities believe the blast was caused by a honey oil lab operation. People nearby were evacuated from their homes, but have since been allowed to return.

Police did not say if there were any injuries, or if any arrests were made.
