53-Year-Old Rio Vista Man Killed In ATV Crash

RIO VISTA (CBS13) — The CHP says a Rio Vista man died in an ATV crash at Brannan Island State Park on Thursday afternoon.

According to the CHP, the 53-year-old man was driving an ATV utility vehicle down a gravel road when it flipped, ejecting him from the vehicle. The vehicle reportedly crushed the driver, and he died from his injuries at the scene.

Officers do not know if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.

The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
