Manteca Police Take Barricaded Subject Into Custody

11 p.m. Update: Police took the barricaded suspect into custody peacefully.

MANTECA (CSB13) — Manteca police are negotiating with a barricaded subject in a residential area, Friday night.

Police say the subject is barricaded inside a home on the 400 block of Parkwood Drive.

Residents in the area are under a shelter-in-place and are asked to stay inside with their doors locked.

Police are asking others to avoid the area until further notice.
