VIDEO: Big Rig Catches Fire Along I-80 In Citrus Heights
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – A big rig caught fire on Interstate 80 late Thursday night.
The incident happened a little before 11 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway, near Greenback Lane.
By the time firefighters got to the scene, flames were shooting from the cab.
The driver was able to get out safely and no one was hurt. Firefighters eventually got the flames under control.
The driver says he felt the truck was having some engine trouble just before the fire.
