SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) — Over the Christmas holiday, President Trump put the blame on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and California Governor Gavin Newsom for not cleaning up San Francisco’s homeless problem.

In one tweet, he said “Nancy Pelosi’s district in California has rapidly become one of the worst anywhere in the U.S. when it come to the homeless and crime. It has gotten so bad, so fast, she has lost total control and, along with her equally incompetent governor, Gavin Newsom, it is a very sad sight!”

Rightly so. It is their policies, or, rather, the policies of their party (and the Burton Machine) that created the conditions that brought this into being.

The “homeless crisis” in California rests squarely on the Democrats in office, and those who have held office, here for the past 60 years.

As a San Francisco born resident over 70, I would say it is true. But blame the administrators and mayors of San Francisco as well. Crime is worse ever and the people living on the streets commit a lot of these crimes. I went into Walgreen’s yesterday and they have everything on lock-down due to the shoplifting by these ‘homeless people’. When all of the high tech places move and no income comes into the San Francisco treasury, they will wake up.

  3. Merits of the observation aside, you know it’s not a comment about homelessness because he didn’t name one local official as contributing. He of course did the same thing with Baltimore earlier in the year. Yawn.

He probably thinks London Breed is a brand of British trousers.

    Just out of curiosity:

How many ILLEGAL ALIENS are ‘homeless’?
