2/4/21 Update – Lopez’s father, Jordan Piper, 36, and stepmother, Lindsey Piper, 38, were taken into custody in Calaveras County in connection with Roman’s death. They both face charges of child abuse and torture.

1/12 Update: Police said the missing boy, Roman Anthony Lopez, was found on Sunday morning.

PLACERVILLE (CBS13) — The Placerville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old boy who has been missing since Saturday morning.

Roman Anthony Lopez was last seen at his home at 2892 Coloma St., authorities said.

Lopez is possibly wearing a grey T-shirt with red and black shoes and has a birthmark on his neck.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lopez is asked to contact 911 immediately.
