Citrus Heights Police Investigating Suspicious Death

CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) — Police are investigating a suspicious death in Citrus Heights.

A spokesperson for the Citrus Heights police department said officers conducted a welfare check at a residence on the 7400 block of Auburn Oaks Court Wednesday afternoon. An adult was found dead inside the home.

At this point in the investigation, police are saying the death is suspicious.

Police did not release any other information. The investigation is ongoing.
