Man Struck, Killed By Train In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a man was struck and killed by a train in Stockton early Friday morning.

The incident happened along the railroad tracks at Hammer Lane, east of Lorraine Avenue.

Stockton police say, around 12:10 a.m., a man was struck by a moving train.

Officers quickly responded to the scene and found the man unresponsive. He was soon pronounced dead by medics.

Union Pacific police are now investigating.

The man's identity has not been released at this point.
