Stockton Police Say Woman Killed, Two Others Injured In Shooting On S. Sutter Street

STOCKTON (CBS13) — The Stockton Police Department said multiple people were injured in a shooting during a family disturbance Friday afternoon.

Officers say a 69-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and two other people were shot inside a residence. The other victims, a 46-year-old woman and a 47-year-old woman, were taken to an area hospital. They are expected to survive.

Police said the shooting happened just before 3 p.m. on the 500 block of S. Sutter Street.

According to police, the suspect, a 48-year-old man, shot himself after shooting the three victims. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Homicide detectives believe a family disturbance led up to the shooting.
