WATCH: Injured Mountain Biker Rescued By CHP Helicopter In Tuolumne County

TUOLUMNE COUNTY (CBS13) — An injured mountain biker in Tuolumne County had to be airlifted to a hospital in Modesto last weekend.

According to a Facebook post from CHP Valley Division Air Operations, Tuolumne County Fire was called to help the biker who fell and suffered major injuries.

The CHP helicopter responded and helped with treatment while taking the patient to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Helicopter Transports Injured Biker Last weekend, Tuolumne County Fire responded to a trail for a mountain biker who fell, suffering major injuries. CHP helicopter (H-20) responded and was able to land nearby. Fire personnel initiated treatment of the rider's injuries. CHP Paramedic Hallam continued treating the patient while en route to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Pilot- Lewis Paramedic- Hallam CHP – Valley Division CHP – Sonora CHP - Modesto
