Person In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Light Rail In Downtown Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A pedestrian is hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a light rail in Downtown Sacramento on Friday, the Sacramento Fire Department said.

The individual was taken to the hospital for treatment after crews lifted the Sacramento Regional Transit train off of them, the department said.

The victim's identity has not been released.

Officials said the scene was at 12th and D streets.

No further information was released.
