Crash On EB I-80 Sent Vehicles Into Car Dealership Parking Lot

VACAVILLE (CBS13) — CHP is investigating a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 80 that sent the vehicles into an auto dealership parking lot.

Officers say the crash happened around 2:45 p.m. on eastbound I-80 near Leisure Town Road. The collision reportedly caused the vehicles to travel off the roadway and into the parking lot, where the box truck came to rest on top of the other car.

Fortunately, only minor injuries were reported.

The CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash.
