AUBURN (CBS13) — It was a busy day for rescue crews on the American River Wednesday.

First responders were called to the confluence in Auburn for two people stranded on a rock, but during that rescue, another call came in downriver where four people were stranded on rocks.

Crews eventually got everyone back to shore safely. They say none of the people involved were wearing life jackets.
