More Than 4,000 Without Power In Western Nevada County

NEVADA COUNTY (CBS13) — Thousands were without power Wednesday night in Nevada County.

According to PG&E, 4,297 customers were affected in the outage reported at 7:10 p.m. The outage affected customers in Penn Valley, Lake Wildwood, Rough and Ready, and Timbuctoo.

Power is estimated to be restored around 10:15 p.m.

The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
