ELDORADO NATIONAL FOREST (CBS13) — Firefighters responded to a fire in the Eldorado National Forest Tuesday evening.

National Forest officials say the Barney’s Fire is in the area of 5 corners on the Amador Ranger District.

Initially, officials reported the fire was 1-2 acres. By 8:20 p.m., firefighters said the fire had a retardant line around it and was mapped at 3.2 acres.

No other information was released about this incident.
