Driver Hurt After Crashing Into Freeway Sign On NB I-5 Near Laguna Boulevard
ELK GROVE (CBS13) — A driver was injured in a crash on northbound Interstate 5 near Laguna Boulevard in Elk Grove early Monday morning.
The crash happened a little after 4 a.m. Exactly what led up to the crash is unclear, but the driver ended up hitting a freeway sign pole - with the vehicle ending up suffering significant damage.
Only one vehicle appears to have been involved in the crash.
Several lanes along northbound I-5 were blocked for a time. Lanes were reopening by 6 a.m.
