1 Dead After Crash On E. Briggsmore Avenue In Modesto

MODESTO (CBS13) — Authorities are investigating a deadly crash along a major Modesto road Thursday morning.

The crash happened in the area of East Briggsmore Avenue east of Oakdale Road.

Modesto police say one person died in the crash, but no details on what led up to the incident have been released.

Eastbound E. Briggsmore Avenue between Oakdale Road and Lakewood Avenue was closed for most of the morning. It has since reopened.
