80-Acre Vegetation Fire In Loma Rica

LOMA RICA (CBS13) — Fire crews are battling an 80-acre blaze in Loma Rica, said Cal Fire Nevada-Yuba-Placer Unit.

This large fire is located off of Brandie Drive and Loma Rica Road, 15 miles northeast of Marysville State DPA.

The fire is currently 5% contained and has a moderate rate of spread.

Evacuation warnings have been issued.
